I'm one of those people who doesn't know how to describe in words what kind of person they are. I can tell you that I'm a simple person, pretty straightforward, but I am unsure of what I want out of life. Things get complicated over time, but eventually they will sort themselves out.
I am a proud mommy to a beautiful baby girl, Julia Renee, born October 13, 2009.
I'm a generally nice person, when you're nice to me. I get along with people, I do what needs to get done, and I don't start shit with anyone.

Dislikes: Seaweed, sunburns, close-minded people, racists/sexists/homophobics, people who squander their money on drugs and alcohol, the government (most of the time)

Please respect my and others' respects and beliefs. I am an atheist, I am VERY tolerant of other people's religions, and I am especially tolerant of their races and sexualities. I would expect that since I am opening up my journal to you, you would show some respect for my beliefs. I understand that not everyone believes in the same things, but I would appreciate it if you didn't flame my posts anytime I mention one of the above controversial topics.

I like to think of myself as a nice person, most of the time. Well educated, at that. I'll let you know right now, that I'm atheistic agnostic, which means, well, in my opinion, that there's no way to tell whether or not God exists, so I dont really believe in God. If that bothers you, then don't add me. Also, if you think that I'm a "heathen" because I don't believe in God, please keep those arguments to yourself. I've heard enough of that from people. I don't think that a believer of God has any right to tell non-believers what they should believe in. You would feel the same way as I do, if I told you that believing in God is stupid and you're wasting your time. But I won't tell you that, because I respect your beliefs. Sure, it's cool that you believe in God. I'm all for that. It's just not my cup of tea, and I honestly don't appreciate people yelling at me because I dont believe in the same things they do. Got it? Good. I'm also a Pragmatist, which means that I do what I do because it benefits me in some way or another. I have morals, and ethics, though. I dont just do things to get myself ahead. For example. I'll study, because it benefits me and my grades. I won't push an old lady out of my way because she's walking too slow. I'm a nice person :) I just, you know, have an odd way of thinking about things.
If you don't show the slightest bit of intelligence, neither of us will enjoy talking to each other. So really... spare us both the trauma and the waste of time. I'm not trying to sound like a bitch or anything, but intelligence is certainly a big factor in what attracts me to a guy, or just people in general. I dont mean to sound rude, but it's the honest truth.
Basically, I just like to do things. I like to go to the movies, I like to talk to people about such topics as philosophy, sex, history, art, music, and literature. I go to museums. I'm a nerd. I like to discuss things with people. I like to argue. I like to make a big deal out of nothing. I whine, I bitch, I complain. I write stories, I copy other people's crap, I do surveys, I ask questions, and I just do my own thing.
